PK Grant Application

    PK (Pastor's Kid) Grant Application
    This grant is awarded to dependent students of Foursquare licensed ministers in a senior or staff pastoral role upon verification of all requirements listed below. This pilot scholarship is available for 2025-2026 and 2026-2027 academic year. Awarded annually, future years contingent upon approval, continued eligibility and funding availability.  
    STUDENT ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
    - Dependent Student of a Foursquare Licensed Senior or Staff Pastor.
    - Enroll in one of LPU’s Traditional On-Campus Undergraduate Associate or Bachelor Ministry Programs (Ministry, Worship Arts & Media, and Biblical Studies). Double major is only allowed for students whose both majors are ministry programs. 
    - Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)*. 
    - Maintain full-time enrollment and satisfactory academic progress (GPA 2.5).
    - Must be a resident in on-campus housing. Must be enrolled for a minimum of 12 billable units per semester.

    I understand that I must meet all the requirements listed above to be eligible for the PK Grant. I understand that this tuition-only grant is applied after all other “tuition only” grants/scholarships are applied. I further understand that if I change my class schedule at any time during the semester and drop below 12 units that I will lose the grant. I also understand that if my cumulative GPA drops below 2.5, I will lose the grant.

    *The scholarship will cover any remaining tuition costs after Pell Grant, SEOG and Cal Grant (if applicable) are applied. Books and fees are not included.

    I understand that I must meet the minister requirements listed above to be considered for the LIFE Grant. I understand that this tuition-only grant is applied after all other “tuition only” grants/scholarships are applied. I understand that the above-named student is applying for institutional assistance in the form of a LIFE Grant that is based upon my appointment as a licensed minister in active ministry. I understand that I need to submit verification of active ministry annually to the Office of Financial Aid.
